Information used by the app
In guest mode on a new installation, timer progress and preferences stay on your device and no Firebase Authentication guest account is created. If you create an email and password account, Firebase Authentication and Firestore support sign-in and cloud sync. Existing installations may retain legacy guest accounts and data during migration. For linked accounts, Firestore stores focus progress, app preferences, and registered-device details (identifier, device name, platform, and system version). A stable installation identifier is stored on your device.
Purchases
Apple App Store or Google Play processes payments. RevenueCat processes purchase and entitlement information, together with the app's Firebase user identifier, so the app can recognize purchases. Cozy Pomodoro does not receive your full payment-card details.
Analytics and diagnostics
Firebase Analytics receives events such as app opens, timer actions, theme changes, achievement unlocks, sign-out, and account deletion. Firebase Crashlytics processes crash and diagnostic data to help us troubleshoot reliability issues. Firebase and RevenueCat may process technical identifiers and device or transaction information as described in their own privacy notices.
The app also uses Firebase Remote Config to retrieve update settings.
Permissions and local data
The app requests notification permission for timer alerts and may request Android exact-alarm access. iOS background audio is enabled for the app's audio feature. The app does not request microphone access. Timer preferences and progress are also stored locally on your device.
Deletion
You can request account deletion in the app. The flow deletes the Firebase account and the user data collections managed by the app; you can also choose to erase local preferences.
